UPDATE: Gas leak in Bellevue contained, roadways to reopen

BELLEVUE, Wis. (WFRV) – After just over an hour, the gas leak in Bellevue is reportedly contained.

According to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, around 10:41 a.m. the leak was contained. Emergency crews will reportedly leave the scene ‘soon’.

Before the leak was contained, the incident was upgraded and more personnel were brought to the scene. Eaton Road was shut down temporarily.

BELLEVUE, Wis. (WFRV) – Emergency crews are on the scene in Bellevue of a reported gas leak.

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department posted on its Facebook page asking people to avoid the area of Monaco Drive in Bellevue. Emergency crews are reportedly on the scene of a gas leak.

There was no information on what caused the gas leak or exactly where it is coming from. Officials also did not provide any details on how long this is expected to last.

The department did include a picture on the Facebook post that shows the area of where crews are on the scene. Monaco Drive is near Eaton Road.
