GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – While he won’t suit up in uniform for the Packers this season, running back AJ Dillon is still doing his part as a member of the team as the Dillon Family Foundation launches a campaign to combat hunger in the community.
The initiative is called ‘Carry for a Cause,’ presented by U.S. Venture. The Dillon Family Foundation says it will donate a backpack of food to the House of Hope in Green Bay for every Packers home game rushing yard this season.

Dillon and his wife Gabrielle launched the Dillon Family Foundation two months ago as they packed cereal at Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. Ever since the couple met in 2020, the two have given much of their time to hunger relief in the community.
“We have always felt passionate about giving back to the community,” AJ Dillon said. “It’s been something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. This year, we’ve kind of put it in motion.”
Gabrielle Dillon concurred, adding that the passion for helping children with hunger relief facilitated the desire to continue their work in the community.
“We were excited about this, we wanted to do something really neat with this,” Gabrielle Dillon said. “One thing that we are passionate about together and our foundation is children, youth and food.”
People can also donate $28 to the Dillon Family Foundation for an additional backpack of food, For those who make a $112 donation, or a ‘Quad’ruple, they will receive a Dillon Family Foundation hat, as the quadruple is an ode to Dillon’s nickname, ‘Quadzilla.’
