Midwest retailer Meijer to hold a new baby recycling event

(WFRV) – Officials from the Midwest retailer Meijer say they will soon be holding a new baby gear recycling event.

According to a release the event will take place at all of its supercenter locations starting on Sunday, October 27, through Saturday, November 9.

Meijer officials say the event is meant to give customers an easy and sustainable way to get rid of any unneeded, expired, or damaged baby items including car seats and strollers.

Car seats and strollers are expensive items that are constantly evolving to meet the safety and regulatory standards of baby gear. Once expired or grown out of, these items are hard to recycle. We want to offer families the opportunity to safely recycle various baby items and be rewarded with more affordable access to essential items.

Customers who participate in this event by bringing eligible items to a designated area at their local Meijer supercenter will receive a redeemable offer code usable in their mPerks account that will grant them 25% off any baby gear.

The 25% coupon will then be available to use two times during the redemption period starting on October 27 and lasting through November 23.
