High School in Wisconsin placed on ‘HOLD’ after bullets found in boy’s restroom

TOMAH, Wis. (WFRV) – A high school in Wisconsin was placed on ‘HOLD’ after bullets were found in one of the boy’s restrooms in the building.

According to a release from the Tomah Area School District, administrators were notified of bullets found in the boy’s restroom on Friday.

Numerous stranded ice fishers rescued by officials in southern Door County

The Tomah Police Department responded quickly to the administration’s contact and started conducting interviews and searches of those who had entered the restroom beforehand.

The investigation revealed no firearm to be found on the campus, and no threat or harm targeted at anybody was identified. Students were later dismissed to lunch and school resumed with additional police presence.

The ‘HOLD’ was for administrators to clear the hallways and students must be in classrooms until told otherwise.
