Drone missions continue as dive teams and authorities continue search for missing kayaker on Big Green Lake

GREEN LAKE, Wis. (WFRV) – Deputies and local authorities are continuing search efforts on Wisconsin’s Big Green Lake for a man who went missing after kayaking on August 11.

According to the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, a morning drone mission that focused on the west end of Big Green Lake was completed on Wednesday.

Since Wednesday’s drone search, another dive was completed by a volunteer diver in the area where a fishing rod was recovered. This was done in hopes that previous circumstances may have prevented the victim from being found during earlier searches.
