26-year-old Wisconsin man dead after being severely injured in Fond du Lac motorcycle crash

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A 26-year-old Wisconsin man died at a hospital from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash on Friday.

According to the Fond du Lac Police Department, officers and Fond du Lac Fire Rescue crews responded to the 600 block of South Main Street for a reported motorcycle crash.

Initial investigations indicate that a 26-year-old Eden man was heading northbound on a motorcycle and crashed into a vehicle driven by a 67-year-old Fond du Lac man.

The motorcyclist was taken to St. Agnes Hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced dead.

The 67-year-old was left unharmed in the incident and he is cooperating with officials during the ongoing investigation.

South Main Street between 15th Street and Guindon Boulevard will be closed during accident reconstruction, which is part of the investigation.
