MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials say no one is hurt following a late-night house fire Wednesday night in Manitowoc.
According to a release from the Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department, crews responded at 10:54 p.m. to the 1300 block of South 36th Street after the department received a transmission of an alarm.
Smoke and flames were reported to be seen coming from a home which responding firefighters were able to confirm once arriving on the scene.

It took three minutes for the first fire engine to arrive on the scene and the fire was put out within seven minutes of the initial dispatch time.
After the first fire engine arrived, additional crews responded to the scene to assist with a primary search of the home, ventilation, salvage, and overhaul.
Officials say no one was injured as a result of the fire as the occupants of the home had all safely evacuated.
At this time, no other information, including the estimated cost of damages, is available and the Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department is investigating.
The Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department would like to stress the importance of working smoke detectors in the home and add a friendly reminder that all batteries in smoke detectors should be checked twice a year.
