Wisconsin man driving stolen vehicle arrested for possessing multiple illegal drugs

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (WFRV) – A 45-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 18 after a County Sheriff’s officer in western Wisconsin conducted a traffic stop.

According to a release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, an officer initiated a traffic stop in Prairie Du Chien. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 45-year-old Garrett Nundahl from Richland Center, Wisconsin.

Prairie Du Chien K-9 Phoenix assisted and detected the presence of at least one illegal and controlled substance in the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed the following drugs in the vehicle:

  • Methamphetamine
  • LSD
  • Marijuana
  • Additional drug paraphernalia

It was also determined that Nundahl was driving a stolen vehicle. He was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail on the following charges:

  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of LSD
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Theft
  • Violating probation
