Additional individuals arrested or wanted for aiding Wisconsin man who fled police after shootout

SAUK COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Six individuals have been arrested or have warrants out for their arrest for their alleged involvement in aiding a Wisconsin man who fired shots at law enforcement in July.

According to a release from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were involved in a shooting where the suspect, Jeffrey Miller, fired shots at law enforcement and fled the area on foot.

Ultimately, Miller was located dead inside a residence in Amherst after a prolonged stand-off with law enforcement. Since the incident, detectives have continued investigating how Miller left the area and identified those who aided him.

As a result, the following individuals were arrested or have warrants out for their arrest:

  • Kayla Oliver, 27, of Kendall
    • Arrested
      • Aiding a felon
  • Brandon Sebranek, 30, of Kendall
    • Arrested
      • Aiding a felon (Repeater)
  • James Miller, 36, Cazenovia
    • Arrested
      • Attempting to aid a felon
      • Obstructing an officer
